Gîte de charme en Périgord noir
Our cottage “La maison haute” is nestled in the charming town of Chourgnac d’Ans, near Tourtoirac and Hautefor, in Périgord noir.
It is a very old worker’s house renovated with quality, local and ecological materials (chestnut floorboards, limewash coating, etc.).
The house, vertically built, surrounded by walnut and meadows can accommodate a 4-5-person-family.
The open plan kitchen-living room, in the former sheepfold, is located on the same level as the garden. It is fully equipped: electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, etc.
The main bedroom, located on the first floor, has direct access onto a south facing terrace. It has an adjoining bathroom. On the next floor beneath the exposed beams, there is a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a TV corner (only DVD) with a sofa bed.
A large garden with a terrace and garden furniture allows you to enjoy the view over the peaceful surrounding countryside.
